Morgan Adams Foundation
Black Dog Professional Cycling is proud to support the Morgan Adams Foundation. The team met the founders of the organization, Joan Slaughter and Steve Adams in early 2010 and developed a synergy: the team wanted to help out in the local Denver community and the Foundation had a built-in cycling fan base! MAF co-founder Steve Adams took up cycling after he lost his young daughter to cancer. Asking why he rode, he responded, “Anything I do on a bike, no matter how hard, is easier any day than what a kid battling cancer faces. That’s why I ride.”
Throughout the year, the team will be making personal appearances at MAF events and sponsoring instructional track and road cycling clinics to help raise funds to support pediatric cancer research. We look forward to being not only ambassadors of the cycling community but advocates for hope in conjunction with the dedicated team at the Morgan Adams Foundation.

Mission Statement
The Morgan Adams Foundation raises money and awareness on behalf of children battling cancer. We directly fund pediatric cancer research and therapies which will improve survival rates and reduce the devastating side-effects of treatments.
Strategic Position
The Morgan Adams Foundation works directly with internationally recognized pediatric research oncologists dedicated to improving the treatment outcomes and quality of life for children with cancer. We provide initial, interim and long-term funding and support for experimental therapies and clinical trials. We are filling the gap between a decreasing availability of pediatric treatments and the increasing need for new and better therapies. We are funding hope.
